Here's what some of our students are saying
"After approximately 150 pleasant hours of training
at New Horizons...I obtained an adjunct faculty instructor position
in my field (psychology) at an area university...
I have found that, because of my training at New Horizons,
I am surpassing many of my new fellow employees in my technical skills."
"I just wanted to write to let you know about my great experience with New Horizons. As you may know, I am enrolled in your Microsoft Certified Application Developer sequence. Before I came to New Horizons, I worked in a factory and had little background with computers. The hands-on format of the training was invaluable, and I love the flexibility. I just finished the classroom training, and all I have left is to take the last Microsoft exam. I haven't taken the test yet because I was recently hired at LexisNexis as a Technical Support Representative. My experience at New Horizons helped me get this position. With hope, I will take the last certification test soon, and I know it will help me in my career." - Jody S.
"This is wonderful for me, as I have been able to 1) adapt quickly to the technology involved with that which I am doing, and 2) help others with their application skills."
"Thank you New Horizons for a wonderful learning experience..."
"I just wanted to drop you a line and say Thank You for all the help you gave me during the past 4 months at New Horizons. I started a new job last Wednesday and I am very excited. You all were a great big help to me and always made me feel welcome. What a great place New Horizons is to their students. I have already started using some of the knowledge that I was able to learn at New Horizons." - Judy W.
"Prior to attending New Horizons Learning Centers I had no formal training or background in the IT field. I have liked and used computers since I was in elementary school, and a chance at an IT career was very appealing. I was very fortunate to encounter a gentleman at the unemployment office that suggested I research New Horizons as an educational option. After doing my homework, I choose New Horizons over any of the local college based IT programs, and began my studies with the goal of obtaining my MCSA. Over the course of the next year and a half I obtained a number of certifications such as my Comptia A+, and my MCDST. Before I had obtained my full MCSA certification, I applied to one of the job opportunities advertised on the board by the break area at New Horizons and gained employment as an IT tech at a local Fairborn company in the fall of 2007." - Brad
